On the Basic plan you receive an alert with details of the infection so you or your developer can clean it. On the Fix, Defend and Enterprise plans SiteLock removes the malicious code automatically, usually within a few hours, and confirms the site is clean.

Yes. The Emergency Response service above gets a security engineer working on your site within 30 minutes, removes the malware by hand if needed, gets you off any blacklists and monitors the site for 7 days afterwards, all for a single one-off fee.

Yes. SiteLock works with any website regardless of what it is built with, and includes extra checks for popular platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and Magento, including outdated plugins and known vulnerabilities.

Yes. SiteLock scans any publicly reachable website. For automatic removal it needs FTP or SFTP access to your files, which you add in your SiteLock dashboard, and the firewall works by pointing your DNS at it, which we help you set up.

A small badge you place on your site that shows visitors the date of the last successful scan. Clicking it opens a verification page. Shops that display it typically see more completed checkouts because customers feel safer entering their details.

Yes. Upgrade at any time from your account and only pay the difference. You can cancel before your next renewal and the service simply stops at the end of the paid period.
